Windermere Country Club Foundation is proud to announce our 3rd annual charity golf event, A HOME FOR A HERO, at Windermere Country Club on February 23, 2010. Organized in conjunction with Building Homes for Heroes, the event is designed to help build a mortgage-free home for Army Sergeant Joel Tavera. For Sgt. Tavera's story click on OUR HEROES above.
Come enjoy a fantastic day of golf at the beautiful Windermere Country Club and help provide A Home for a Hero. The event will include a 4-person Scramble, continental breakfast, beverage cart, and a superb lunch in the Manor Room to be followed by awards. Among the featured events for the day will be Silent and Live Auctions, Hole in One and Long Drive contests. A 2010 Nissan Altima 2.5 S with Premium Package courtesy of REED NISSAN will be raffled at the event - only 250 tickets will be sold!
Sgt. Tavera and his family are scheduled to join us at the event.
